Sundial for a family of four

Description.

The sundial belongs to a family of four. Therefore, four anniversary lines are etched on its face — one for each family member. Once a year, the shadow of nodus passes the dial along these lines and show who of the family celebrates birthday.

In southern part of the dial a line of one of the most known rubaies by Omar Khayyám and his name in Arabian letters are etched.
