Single copy. The length of the major axis is 6 000 mm. The scale of dates and the dial figures are made of granite breccia and artificial granite. The thickness of the sundial’s parts is 60 mm. All elements are reinforced with fixture rods of 16 mm in diameter. The thickness of the granite breccia is 30 mm. The blocks are cut into the granite paving of the roof of the planetarium. The thickness of the granite tiles on the roof is 80 mm. The outer surface of the granite breccia is polished.

Description.

This analemmatic sundial is set in the Moscow Planetarium in spring 2010 as a part of the general project of its reconstruction.
