Description.

The sundial is dedicate to four ancient winds. It is delineated for geographical coordinates of Moscow. Moscow coordinates are indicated on the left and right of the base of the gnomon. It the quadrants the names of winds are written. They are the same as the names of the winds on the Creation Tapestry kept in the Cathedral of Girona (Catalonia, 12th century): Septentrio – a wind coming from the seven stars. Subsolanus – a wind living below the sun. Sephirus — a light west wind. Austres — a warm south wind.

In the central part of the dial the ring inscription is written similar to the ring inscription on the Creation Tapestry. In the southern part of the dial the inscription in Catalan «Quatre vents de filicitat — four lucky winds" is written.
