Description.
The instrument measures time with the accuracy of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. It is designed for testing watches and mobile phones. To set the time on a wristwatch or on a mobile phone, add the equation of time and 29 and a half minutes to the sundial readings. In the center of the instrument the detailed equation of time graph is etched. Instructions for using a sundial for checking watches and clocks is etched in the southern part of the dial.
