The authors are working on a four languages website dedicated to this sundial, the life and works of Ramon Llull and the «Tapestry Creation.» The date of the site publication will be announced later. .

Description

The sundial is set in Palma Nova (Mallorca Island, Spain). In the center of the sundial in a scale of 0.75 the Creation Tapestry is shown. The tapestry is made in the 11th — 12th centuries. Now it is stored in the Cathedral of Girona. The theme of the images in the Tapestry are the seasons, the birth of Eve, and the creation of animals. Along the perimeter of the dial in four languages (Latin, Spanish, Catalan and Russian) are the quotations by a missionary, poet and philosopher Ramon Llull who in the 14th century lived on the island of Mallorca.
